Leadership Programmes for Hospitals

Overview

We offer a range of programmes for leaders working within the acute sector at different stages within their careers. This could be through our open programmes that individual leaders can apply to attend. We also deliver a wide variety of programmes to specific Trusts.

For Individuals: Senior Leaders

Our Senior Leadership Development Programme consists of three stand-alone modules, Leading Self, Leading Others and Leading Systems. The programme is open to those working at Consultant-grade Doctors and above, 8a Nurses, AHPs and Managers. Modules run on a rolling basis throughout the year.

For Organisations: Senior Leaders

We work with individual Trusts, and those pre-merging, to develop bespoke senior leadership development programmes that suit the local context and development needs of their people. More information about some of the programmes we’ve been delivering recently, and the impact these have had for the organisations themselves, and the people that have attended them can be found below.

For Individuals: Emerging Leaders

We are hoping to launch an open leadership development programme for Emerging Leaders later this year. If you’re interested in finding out more about the programme, or would like to be considered as a future applicant, please contact us at info@staffcollege.org

For Organisations: Emerging Leaders

We also work with individual Trusts to develop leadership development programmes for leaders earlier in their careers. Sometimes these are targeted for those just stepping into their first leadership roles or those who are thinking about whether a leadership role is for them. Find our more about the programmes we’re currently delivering below.

I think that the strengths of the course are the structure – highly interactive, minimally didactic – and the ability of the faculty to really push and get the most out of the delegates in their cohorts. From my perspective, the Staff College is not for people who are looking to ‘tick a box’ but is a must for people genuinely seeking to develop as leaders.

A great three days. Challenging and rewarding, with plenty to reflect on and some skills and insights to try and take forward into the ‘day job.’ Well prepared and well run, with a format that works and a faculty that have credibility. Thanks again
