  • Update on our November 2019 programme delivery

Posted on 13 Dec 2019 in Staff College News

Since the end of October we have had an intense period of delivery.  Over this period we have worked with long-term commissioners and new commissioners, presented at a national conference and delivered a module from our Senior Leadership Development Programme:

    • We had the opportunity to deliver a session at the FMLM Leaders in Healthcare Conference in Birmingham, 4-6 November 2019.
    • We returned to continue to deliver a programme of leadership development for the senior leaders and executive board from the MSE Group of hospitals: Basildon and Thurrock University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Southend University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Mid Essex Hospital Services NHS Trust.
    • Our Senior Leadership Development Programme: Leading Others module was attended by senior leaders from a variety of acute trusts, primary care and services working within the NHS.
    • We ran the final day for two cohorts of senior leaders from Aintree University Hospital and Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals of their 3-day Leadership development programme.  We are back in 2020 to work with another cohort of senior leaders.
    • We spent a week at HMPPS Newbold Revel delivering the HMPPS Strategic Leadership Programme: Leading Me module for senior Prison and Probation services staff.
    • Our fifth annual Aidan Halligan Memorial Lecture attended by approximately 120 people was delivered by Prof Sir Bruce Keogh.
